Bridges
Dental bridges are fixed prosthetic devices used to replace one or more missing teeth by anchoring artificial teeth (pontics) to adjacent natural teeth or dental implants. Bridges restore the aesthetics of the smile, prevent surrounding teeth from shifting, and improve chewing function.
BRIDGE work
A dental bridge effectively spans the void created by a missing tooth. This procedure entails the placement of a false tooth that is secured to the adjacent natural teeth, effectively filling the gap. There are two primary types of dental bridges. The more prevalent variety entails two crowns, fashioned from porcelain or metal, which are permanently affixed to the natural teeth on each side of the empty space, with the false tooth (or teeth) situated in the centre.
Dental bridges provide a lasting resolution for missing teeth. Unlike dental implants, bridges don’t necessitate surgery to replace missing teeth. Additionally, with porcelain finishes available, your new tooth could be nearly identical to the natural teeth surrounding it.
